Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) had a classic field service supply chain challenge. High value stock, increasing pressure to maximise engineers'time, wide range of product sizes and weights and a time critical returns loop. Flexibility was the key to maximising CCE's supply chain. ByBox' Thinventory™ system supported the range of processing required to minimise CCE's spend on distribution and stock and to maximise the productivity of its engineers.

More unusually, ByBox' World-leading manufacturing facility was critical to accommodate CCE's range of freight sizes. ByBox manufactured a brand new drop-box to CCE's specification. It was a very large box, so we called it the "Baz Box", named after Big Baz in the CCE team.

Net result: dramatic reduction in stock holding, more jobs per engineer per day, more agile supply chain, happy Baz.
