The savings are calculated by making an engineer journey comparison between the ByBox network and a typical pick-up drop-off (PUDO) network. The key data points we applied for this calculation are:
- frequency of collections & returns,
- route scheduling and proximity to a ByBox locker / typical PUDO site,
- standard industry assumptions for LCV fuel consumption and CO2 emissions for diesel, and
- known customer savings delivered via the ByBox network.
