Following the Government’s commitment to smart metering, we helped npower overcome a range of challenges and launch their demanding roll out plan.
Like many utilities, npower was set up from a legacy position of meter replacement activity. The smart revolution increased volumes by 1000%, and introduced never before seen complexities such as matching firmware to physical units; combining assets into sets and ensuring compliance of all the components; aligning customer account details with assets serial numbers to ensure the correct data is given to the correct customer.
